HOW TO IMPLEMENT PRIVATIZATION TRANSACTIONS
This is a highly practical, hands-on workshop. The focus in on the “how to” aspects of implementing a privatization decision rather than the “why to” side of the privatization debate: This training workshop will:
- Provide an overall understanding of the privatization process;
- Assist in planning the logistics to implement a privatization decision;
- Facilitate implementation of a privatization transaction;
- Guide the supervision of consultants (financial advisors) recruited to implement a privatization transaction;
- Improve the design of privatization policies by painting a realistic picture of the implementation process;
- Summarize international best practice and lessons of experience; and
- Enable participants to train others in their countries by providing them with all the necessary background material, sources of information and practical tools.
